Elizabeth jokes about John's hair habits
Dem wife Elizabeth Edwards was amazingly witty and quick-on-her-feet (while being quite fashionable, I may add) this weekend as she appeared as a celebrity guest on NPR’s quiz show, “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me!,” Saturday morning (FYI: it was taped in advance).
Going up against host Peter Sagal on the “Not My Job” segment, Edwards holds her own on a game called, "You're Rich, Famous, and Hoovering the Entire Output of the Cali Cartel Up Your Surgically Altered Nose" - basically three questions about treatment centers for celebrities.
But before she answered, she joked about her husband’s controversial $400 haircut saying, "Since he makes mistakes like the haircut, I don't have to worry about humanizing my husband. ... He doesn't use any hair products at all. He doesn't even use conditioner."
Here's my favorite part from the transcript:
SAGAL: All right. First we take you to the famous Promises Center in Malibu where Lindsay Lohan will be heading soon to pay $49,000 a month to sober up. Among the things –-
EDWARDS: That haircut's looking cheap.
